Note: The evaluation copy of VTune 2.5.1 is valid only for 30 days from the day it is installed and will cease to function at the end of that period.

To download and install the evaluation copy of VTune 2.5.1, do the following:

1. Double-click on tryvtune.exe in the download table below.
   
2. Save the file that you download to a temporary directory.
3. Double-click on the .exe to extract the files.
   The files are extracted and the installation process begins automatically.
4. Follow the prompts the installation program guides you through.

Note: You must have administrator privileges to install VTune on Windows* NT. If VTune is installed by a different user, when you log in for the first time, update the user's registry by double-clicking on the Update User's VTune Registry icon in the VTune program group.
